We are delighted to share that Brick+Data won the 2025 “BIM Innovator” Award at the Proptech Conference!
The award recognises those who “play an outstanding role in developing, promoting and innovating the use of BIM in the construction industry.” It is a great honour that the professional jury selected us for this award.
On one occasion, we were talking to one of our clients when they described us as a “hobby company”. I was surprised and asked what they meant. They explained that we work on the things we genuinely want to work on; that it is obvious how much we love technology and how much we enjoy getting immersed in the implementation of a new digital development. From that perspective, they were absolutely right.
We would also like to give special thanks to Zoltán Kalmár for organising the conference. Once again, he created an outstanding event where professionalism could be felt throughout.
Of course, development is not always fun and games. It requires a great deal of patience, empathy, courage and willingness to take risks. You need to be comfortable with uncertainty and with constantly learning new things, while also switching between bottom-up and top-down mindsets – which can be particularly demanding.
So I would especially like to thank my colleagues who have joined the Brick+Data vision and continue to put tremendous energy into supporting the human-centred digitalisation of the construction industry.
